This original Tiffany Studios “Junior” Floor Lamp showcases a fine example of the company's “Dogwood Border” leaded glass shade.
The shade features a gridded background of richly mottled yellow chartreuse Tiffany glass scattered throughout with subtle hints of orange and green, particularly evident near the crown of the shade. Around the widest point of the shade, the geometric background is interrupted by a horizontal frieze of dogwood flowers articulated in pale pink and white mottled glass touched with hints of yellow, surrounded by leaves in both variegated and mottled green glass.
The shade is paired with a plain bronze footed “Junior” Floor Base in rich brown-green patina, with an original reticulated heat cap.
Both the shade and base of this authentic Tiffany lamp are signed with firm’s mark and model number.
