This Early Decorated Cabinet Vase is formed by opaque deep blue iridescent Tiffany Favrile Glass.
The footed, rounded body features paralell bands of pulled and hooked swag motifs. Along the slightly flared neck and shoulder, the decoration is articulated in a thick band of gold iridescent glass, while the band along the lower portion of the vase and into the foot is formed by striated gold glass with narrow white borders and a purple hue to the iridescence.
This fine example of early Tiffany Glass is inscribed on the underside with signature and date code.
