These rare Tiffany Favrile Glass Punch Glasses feature fine intaglio carved decoration of grape clusters, grape leaves and coiling vines, which stand out from the clear glass surface.
The surface of the rounded cup was first decorated with applied pads of Tiffany Glass in a shade of reddish-pink, likely referencing the hue of champagne grapes, in addition to pale green for the leaves. These pads were then carefully wheel-carved to create the motif of grape clusters with rounded grapes surrounded by veined green leaves, as well as the coiling vines that encircle the entirety of the cup.
Both cups feature an applied handle. These original examples of blown Tiffany Glass are inscribed on the underside with signature and date code.
